PLOT
Yamato 2520, which takes place hundreds of years after the first, details the exploits of the 18th spacecraft to bear the name and its conflict with the Seiren Federation. A group of youthful Earth citizens find the old wreck of the Earth Federation Battleship Yamato on a planet that is cruelly controlled by the Serien Federation. The teenagers are able to build a new Yamato using the Serien's automated shipyards by stealing its data drive.
